Sound of Engine Richard Mille 2018
Suzuka Sound of Engine Richard Mille is structured around exhibitions, demonstration runs/races and ‘Concours’. By shining a retrospective light on past eras, the event highlights memorable moments of automobile history, linking the past and present into one storyline that allows us to see the world of ‘Motorsport’ as more than ever, not just a sport, but a Culture.
In 2012, Suzuka Circuit celebrated its 50th anniversary with a commemorative event, the ‘Suzuka Circuit 50th Anniversary Day’, bringing together many classic machines and legendary racers for a reunion. This special occasion not only celebrated the Suzuka Circuit’s long years of tradition, but served to honour the entire motorsport history of Japan.
In order to pay homage to this legacy in the 50 years ahead, SUZUKA Sound of ENGINE was inaugurated in 2015 to give fans and enthusiasts a chance to recognise and revel in the wonders of motorsport differently from the track’s racing events. Thus are the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Great Britain and Monterey Historic Car Race & Pebble Beach Concours d’Élégance were joined by the SUZUKA Sound of ENGINE RICHARD MILLE.
