Sébastien Loeb

The rally legend

Sébastien Loeb is a nine-time World Rally Champion. He owes this not only to his undoubted talent at the wheel, but also to his incredible attention to detail, his capacity to remember the smallest of details of the roads he competes on. Modest and yet determined, he is a true legend in the world of rallying. He remains one of the France’s favourite sports personalities.

‘I do not have any secret, but I would say that in automotive sports talent is the principal aspect. You need to work in order to progress and it requires a lot of motivation.’

Sébastien Loeb

Loeb represents the very essence of a racing driver competing in multiple categories. He has amply demonstrated this at the Le Mans 24 Hour race and at the WTCC touring car championship, which he completed in 2014. He worked with Peugeot in the vibrant world RX rallycross championship, with whom he won the famous Pikes Peak race in 2013, and then drove with Peugeot for four Dakars, finishing third at the 2019 Edition.

Apart from his achievements, he is a genuinely likeable character, as talented as he is humble. Sébastien Loeb became part of the Richard Mille family in 2013. He wears the RM 36-01 Competition g-sensor Tourbillon, a thirty-piece limited edition.

‘I have met some other Richard Mille partners, most of whom are sportsmen. We share the same philosophy. Our commitment in sports brings us all together.’

Sébastien Loeb’s talent is equal to the challenge, being at his best when faced with difficulties.
Since 2016, Sébastien has been pushing boundaries even further by taking part in the grueling Dakar race in South America. Never a man to retire, in 2018 he returned to rallying with selected events from the World Championship with the factory Citroen Team and now races this year with Hyundai. He is also an entrepreneur, founding the Sébastien Loeb Racing Team in 2011 with his mentor Dominique Heinz.
